Army communications program wins 2 awards
The Army recently won two awards for improving healthcare on the battlefield. The section of the army that won the award was the ‘Army’s Medical Communications for Combat Causality Care program (or MC4). The awards won were two government technology awards. The program is based at Fort Detrick, and its purpose is to install and support an electronic medical record system in battlefields. This new programme is an improvement on the old communication device which was simply pen and paper notes of soldier’s medical records. This programme also allows soldiers to access VA medical benefits.
