Online bingo is often lumped in with other online and casino games, where the key object of the game is winning money. Whilst this is of course part of it; online bingo has so much more to offer.

What you may not realise about online bingo is that it is a very social game, one that people play not just because of the prospect of winning a cash jackpot prize.

People go online and play regularly at sites like wonder bingo partly because of the people they meet in the bingo chat rooms, all enjoying the games together, congratulating wins and sharing hot bingo tips. You can make some real friendships this way, or just have a chat and a giggle every now and again if you prefer.

Playing online bingo might seem like a solitary pursuit to some people, but this isn’t the case at all. Online bingo brings together like-minded people in one place, where they can enjoy games and chat together.

So, go on – give online bingo a try. Play wonder bingo games today and you’ll find out just how social your brand new hobby can be. You never know, you might even meet your new best friend!

With such a large proportion of the population struggling to make ends meet at the moment, the UK National Lottery is as popular as it’s ever been, as more and more people are filling out those lottery tickets, keeping their fingers crossed and hoping that their funds will be treated to a boost.

When the National Lottery first made an appearance, the public could enjoy one draw per week. As the lottery became more and more of a success though, the number of draws and options increased, and nowadays there is plenty of choice. This means that you don’t just have to restrict yourself to playing just once a week.

One thing which lots of UK National Lottery players aren’t aware of though is that their lottery options aren’t restricted to this country. National Lotteries are popular all over the globe, and what’s more, even when you’re based in the UK, there’s nothing stopping you from taking part in lotteries elsewhere.

Brazilian, Canadian and American lotteries are a small selection of your options, with American lotteries in particular presenting you with a lot of choice. Many states within America hold their own lotteries, so you’re not confined to one big draw. This means that you can give yourself several chances of success.

If you’re a little puzzled as to how you’re supposed to take part in these lotteries when you live such a long way away, there’s really no need to be. The wonder that is the internet enables you to purchase your tickets online with speed and ease, and checking lottery results over the internet is also simple.

Now that you can see that the UK National Lottery isn’t the only option you’ve got, there’s no time like the present to switch on your computer, log online and start playing the games which so many other countries have to offer. You really do never know when or where your luck might be in.

For the latest news and reviews on Powerball visit the Alottery.com web site.

Sending a letter is sooo last century!!! There are a vast range of ways to communicate with people now a days and sending a letter is very out of date, it takes a long time to send a letter, you have to be bothered to go and find a post box.

In comparison to this, sending an email is instantaneous, you write it, you press send, it is free and off it goes. Letters can get lost in the post, there is the risk of letters being stolen by dodgy postmen and finally there is the risk of postmen going on strike and your post being delayed.

There are many advantages of communicating by text message. Text messages are often extremely cheap and you can keep your messages brief. Millions of people sent millions of text messages every day and there is now a text message language, which includes abbreviating all the words to keep the characters low so that the text message is short. For example, lol, omg, lmao, gr8. 2moz. The list of shortened words is endless.

How many shortened words do you know? Do you think the text message language is ruining the English language?

Methods of communication include, by letter, by email, by telephone, by mobile phone, by text message or by fax.

My sister has recently had a baby (it was a big family issue because she was a holiday rep abroad so none of my family have ever met the father) Anyway she came home and had my nephew and he is really cute (however I am biased). As she is on maternity leave she has all day to fill with activities to carry out with the baby.

One activity she has chosen to sign up for is baby babble. Baby babble can be used to communicate with babies, they can make cooing or gurgling noises and practice using their vocal chords. If parents speak slowly to their babies and repeat words infants will become encouraged and will come to understand what you are saying.

You may not realise it but space is a really important factor when you are communicating with someone. The amount of space you give someone often depends on your relationship with them. For example, you may get really close to your boyfriend / girlfriend when you are speaking to them as this is a sign of intimacy and affection. However, if you are not very familiar with a person and they are standing too close to you or invading your space when you are having a conversion – it can leave you feeling uncomfortable and violated!

Another example is when you are angry and being aggressive – you often find people invade your personal space as a sign of dominance. The amount of physical space you need often differs depending on the culture, the situation, and the closeness of the relationship.

OK so you are just about to go into a very important business meeting and you need this client to sign on the dotted line. To ensure that you get the successful outcome you need to make sure you verbally impress the client but also your body language needs to be telling the client the same message!

If you go into this meeting and sit there with your arms folded across your body – your client will think that you do not want to be there and you are hiding something or trying to protect yourself. It is better to sit with your arms at your sides or on the table in an open gesture. Also keep your facial expressions in check – if this client is boring you do not show it – make sure you look interested and ask questions as your face will be constantly monitored by your client.

Ultimately, what you don’t say is even more important than what you do say – so watch your body language!

I can remember the rush of excitement if a letter landed on my doorstep. Working out who writing it was, seeing where the postmark was from. Opening the envelope and then seeing the amount of pages that someone had actually taken the time to fill in writing to ME!

Do we get the same feeling from someone writing an email? Seeing their address landing in our inboxes? Or is it all too easy emailing, facebooking, and twittering?

I used to have loads of penpals growing up and some of them for quite a few years but over time lost contact with them – I wonder where they all are now – maybe I should have a look on facebook and see if they remember me?

Call me old fashioned but what has happened the standard pen and piece of paper and writing. I’m scared that over time, kids of today are going to loose the ability of writing and stringing a sentence together normally. All eveyone seems to use these days, is text – as already talked about in my prevoious posts- where anything but the normal English language is used. Or email – where abbreviations are used in the same way as in a text message. Or using facebook or twitter… what happening to picking up the phone and talking to your friends – it takes the same amount of time and I much prefer knowing someone WANTS to spend time talking to me rather than sending me a text or email at a time when they know I’m not available.
