Communication a priority despite recession
In the news today there has been a variety of discussions about “what we simply cannot live without even in this recession”. And by common agreement, the thing that we cannot live with out is… the internet and our mobile phones.
The idea of losing contact with people and information is one that the general public simply will not contemplate. Rather than cutting out the internet and phones, people would rather sacrifice their holidays and nights out, and spend the money on communicating with people electronically.
Surely seeing them for real would be time better spent? Or is the quantity of contact more important than the quality?
